In the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Zelal Kaya presented on “The Commodification of the Female Body in the Process of Capitalist Modernization,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Fatih Işık presented on “Being a Subject of Rights, Not an Object of Protection,” and Dr. Cennet Ceren Öztürk presented on “The Bearable Lightness of Being a Woman.” Hüsna Kereş moderated the program.
The program, which addressed the place of women in social life, their rights, and the problems they face from various perspectives, was met with great interest from the participants.
