Our Department's First PhD Student Graduates
Rıdvan Yıldız, the first PhD student of our Philosophy Department, has successfully completed his thesis entitled "Suhrawardi and Ishraqi
Thought Codes" and earned his PhD degree.
This study, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Kantarcı Bingöl, makes a valuable contribution to the field by examining the Ishraqi philosophy of Suhrawardi, one of the important figures of the Islamic thought tradition, within the framework of its conceptual and intellectual codes.
This achievement, which is the first PhD graduate of our department, is an important academic milestone for both our student and our department. We congratulate Rıdvan Yıldız for his determination, scientific effort and academic success; and we wish him continued success in his future academic work.
As the Philosophy Department, we congratulate our graduate and wish him a fruitful academic life full of scientific studies.
